La Plantation Hotel Mauritius is ideally situated in the proximity of the capital city and Grand Bay. The hotel offers you a relaxed and comfortable stay in marvellous surroundings! It brings all the desirable comfort to a corporate clientele who appreciates to mix business with pleasure, also close to the capital city.
These marvellous surroundings define most the ambience of the place. It is in this peaceful atmosphere that La Plantation’s eight acres are found. Around its huge pool, nature competes of exotic fragrances spread out in the middle of its 4000 m2 water basins, where palm trees, coconut trees, bougainvilleas plants and tropical flowers, one more beautiful than the other are blended. Its beach on the border of the lagoon welcomes you to sunbathe or to enjoy candlelight dinner, with your feet in the sand. The Dolphin Spa, a balneotherapy centre, gives you a sensation of well being, with its revitalizing treatments. Entertainment and good living are prolonged at the end of the evening at the discotheque, entirely renovated in 2004, with the restaurants, the lobby and the gardens.

Le Domaine des Epices
It is the main dining room of the hotel. Breakfast buffet are served by the pool side.
From 5h30 to 7h00, a continental breakfast is served, especially for the business clientele.
From 7h00 to 10h00 breakfast is served in the form of an international buffet.
For dinner, from 19h00 to 22h00, you can enjoy a different theme buffet each night: Chinese, Indian, Italian, seafood…

This restaurant offers a gourmet card in a romantic decor. It is set up in the middle of a basin with small islands in open air. It has also an air-conditioned section. It welcomes you everyday for dinner from 19h30 to 22h00.

L'Amiral
This restaurant & bar, located on the beach is opened daily for lunch, from 12h30 to 14h30 and for dinner from 19h30 to 22h00. From your table you can appreciate the Citron River. At night, facing the bay you will enjoy grilled food and seafood under the stars.
Bars
Le Cylo
« Le Cylo » is in the middle of the pools, facing the dance floor and the band. It is the main bar of the hotel. It is opened everyday from 10h00 to midnight. You may enjoy sandwiches and salads for lunch. Discover the tropical cocktails of the island during the aperitif. It is the place to be if you wish to participate to the entertainment and games organised, and to watch the fashion and folkloric shows.
Le Colonial
« Le Colonial » is opened everyday from 10h00 to 23h00 on the first floor, next to the shop. This discreet bar is a place of serenity and relaxation for those who wish to enjoy peaceful moments.

« Le Majakaro », discotheque, is opened from 22h30 to 2h00 on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays where you can learn the tropical rhythms.
Kids Club
« Le Dauphin Kid’s Club », is the dedicated area for the kids and takes care of the kids from 3 to 12 years of age, from 9h00 to 21h00. It has a space with toboggans and slides in the garden and equipped with television and video… The entertainment team proposes various activities: drawing competition, football, games in the garden, indoor games, team building, beach games and nature walk in the vicinity.
Spa
To answer to an increasing demand from our clientele, spas have been created in the main establishments of the « Apavou hotels », under the brand name « Dolphin Spa ».
Set up over 326 m2, the health center of the Plantation hotel allow you to discover a wide variety of personalized treatments, based on a philosophy issued from the Chinese and Indian medicines which consider the body in its physical and energetic aspect. This principle lies on the law of the five elements (wood, fire, earth, metal and water) and on the principle of the Yin and the Yang.
It uses namely the chromo therapy, an advance technique, which utilizes the combination of the colors of raw materials and the color of light to search in a selective manner the great energetic functions of the body:

Our aim before all is to treat the aesthetic problems caused by stress, by poor alimentation, by the absence of physical activity, by climatic conditions and by pollution.
We utilise exclusively the cosmetic treatments of « Phytobiodermie ». All the products of this brand, made in Switzerland, contain natural elements such as essential oils, algae, colored clay, minerals, cereal extract, oligo-elements. All these elements make Phytobiodermie a performing product line for all treatments of hair, face and body. The different treatments are practiced with the help of modern technological equipment.
Our professional staff welcomes you in a luxurious refined and Zen environment. A choice of massages, facial and body treatment as well as a complete set of hydrotherapy treatment: balneotherapy (aqua jets massage), vichy shower bath (massage under a ramp with water jets), water pressured jets (massage with a stimulating jet of water) are offered.
To preserve a serene and relaxing atmosphere, kids under 12 years of age are not allowed in the spa, which is opened every day from 8h30 to 20h00.

The hotel has three air conditioned conference rooms which can take up to 280 persons separately. The two smaller meeting rooms can be used as break-out rooms.

All our rooms are air conditioned. They are spread over 2 storeys of the main building and in villas in the middle of a tropical garden. The rooms have the same equipment of comfort: mini bar, television, with 3 local channels and 8 satellite channels, direct telephone line, individual safe, bath room with bathtub and hair dryer and separate toilet. Some of the rooms are comunicating.
Standard Rooms
The 157 standard rooms of 64 m2 have a king size (2m x 2m) or 2 separate beds. They are all facing the garden. It is possible to add a bed for a child of less than 12 years.
Privilege Rooms
The 80 privilege rooms of 72 m2 or de 64 m2 (30 units) have a king size bed (2m x 2m) or 2 separate beds. They are either facing the garden or the ocean. It is possible to add a bed for a child of less than 12 years.
Extras: Bathrobe, beach towels, electric kettle, tea and coffee facilities.
Family Rooms
The 26 family rooms of 72 m2 have a room with a king size bed for the parents and a room with a bunk-bed for the children. They are either facing the Citron River or the pool. Children less than 12 years old are free of charge on half board.
Suites
The 7 suites with view on the Citron River have a surface area of 120 m2. The have a room with a king size bed (2m x 2m), a room for the children with two separate beds, two bathrooms and two separate toilets.
Please note that « La Plantation » hotel has four rooms for handicapped persons set up on the same level, with bathtub equipped with handles and ramp for access as well as toilets adjusted for wheel chairs.

La Plantation Hotel Mauritius is situated on the north west coast of Mauritius, at 15 minutes from Port Louis, the capital, at 15 minutes from Grand Bay, the tourist spot of the island and at one hour from the Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam airport at Plaisance.

Optional Meal Supplement

Payment Requirements
For your convenience, Internet Travel Group offers secure online payments with the following credit cards: Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Please note that, should you prefer, you are able to supply your credit card information by fax. We are unable to accept your reservation request without credit card details, though you will only be billed once your booking has been confirmed, the credit card information verified and our confirmation voucher sent to you by email.

-The full amount will be charged at the moment of confirmation.
Cancellation Policy
.If cancellation is received 15 days or more prior to arrival, then a 20% of the full amount will be lost.
.If a cancellation is received 14 days or less prior to arrival, then a 2 nights penalty fee will apply.
.No shows will result on the full amount being charged as a cancellation fee.
Children Policy
.Children over the age of 12 are considered as adult.
.Children requiring their own room are charged as adults.
Liability

Price & Payment
Unless otherwise stated, at the time of booking only a deposit is due. The remanining balance is payable on check-in and charged by the hotel direct. hotel-savings.com accepts Visa, Mastercard & American Express.
For security purposes, should your reservation incur a charge in excess of USD 400.00, you must submit a signed credit card authorization form. This will be supplied upon confirmation of the reservation. If you fail to fax across this documentation within 48 hours, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation. Please note that as per our cancellation policy, there may be a fee for this.
Flight Information
If you are to arrive at your hotel after 5pm, please provide Hotelrentalgroup with your flight information, so that we may be able to advise the hotel of what time they can expect you. Should your flight be delayed, we strongly recommend that you contact the hotel directly to inform them of this.
Period of Stay / Rate Calculation
All stays are calculated and sold "per night". We can only guarantee a room until noon (12pm). Late check-outs can be requested at the moment of reservation in the additional comments box, but may come at an additional fee (usually 50% of the nightly rate).
Cancellation Policies & Charges
Cancellations must be received in writing by e-mail, with as much notice as possible. Penalty fees may apply. Please check the terms & conditions, as these policies vary from hotel to hotel.
Cancellation Charges On All Reservations
-On all confirmed reservations, 20% of the total amount will be lost.
-Further cancellation charges may apply depending on the hotel.

No Shows
No Shows will result in a 100% penalty fee.
Reservation & Confirmation
All reservations made on the web sites operated by hotel-savings.com will receive a temporary confirmation number. This temporary number does not mean that the hotel room is available and is only for administrative purposes. Your final confirmation will be sent to you on your official confirmation voucher within 24 hours, unless, due to unforeseen circumstances, the hotel does not get back to us within this time frame. hotel-savings.com is not responsible for any such delays.
Early departures
In addition to the standard cancellation policy, we would like to stress the point that the hotels are very strict regarding changes to the length of clients’ stays. Therefore we would like to inform you that clients departing before their booked check out date will be charged for the remaining nights and, no being made for unused nights.
Check In & Check Out Policy
Your room will be made available to you from 14h00 (unless stated otherwise in the terms & conditions of the hotel). Should you require a guaranteed early check in, the room must be booked and paid for in full for the day preceeding your stay.
Check out time is 12:00 hrs. For a guaranteed late check-out, clients should book for an additional night, charged at 100%.

hotel-savings.com sources hotels from various hotel companies in the countries in which it operates. The condition of the stay will be subject to the law of the country in which it is supplied to you. You will be subject to its terms and conditions and local law.
hotel-savings.com reserves the right to pass on to the client any government increase in local VAT or other taxes that may be introduced after a reservation is made. Any additional charges payable on arrival are subject to local VAT at the prevailing rate in that country.
